Passed with a 935 today.
Everything that I needed to know for the ICND1 exam was in this .pdf file:

The Show Configuration Sim and Security Testlet were on the exam and there was a total of 47 questions.

I passed yesterday with 967. Most questions I saw on this site. Security testlet and Configuration simulator. Config questions were the same but one answer was different. Make sure you do your due diligence on each question. Resources were Wendell Odom’s book 31 days before you take your CCENT, 9TUT and a training class. Lots of youtube. Towards the end discovered if you just have Packet Tracer and watch dancourses on youtube you will get a real feel on how it all works. Beginning to gear up for 200-101 in September.

Just passed ICND1. 960++. Study with CBTnuggets. 2 Sims. Security/Show Commands

– Just passed the exam today and I still had 10 minutes left. Scored 967 ( 47 questions)
– No questions on IPV6, OSPF
– No drag and drop
– Make sure you know how to subnet really well
– Most of the questions are from this site. I also watched CBT Nuggets, You tube videos, PassGuide practice questions (really hepful and reliable answers as it is validated by other experts), practiced the Simulation questions using Packet Tracer from this site. Thanks to the people whoever created those SIM questions and shared on 9TUT.
– 2 SIMs. I thought both of them would be at the end of the exams. However, one was after 30th question ( Show commands. Using the “Show Interfaces”, you could view the FA interface on LAN but it’s the second FA interface that will show you the IP address in CIDR format to figure out the subnet. One of the FAs does not have any IP address assigned). The other one was for Security SIM ( Make sure you follow the tips provided on this site on how to answer those questions). By the way, MOTD is security issue as per the Pass Guide practice questions and they are right as I selected them on my exams as well.
– On the laminate paper ( got 2), just write the down the Subnetting table, common CIDR,etc so that it’s easier for you to answer the subnetting questions which is easier to visualize.
– 100-101 ICND1 v2.0 Last day to test: August 20, 2016
– 200-101 ICND2 Last day to test: September 24, 2016
– Need to start studying for the ICND2 now before it expires. Good luck everyone 🙂

Passed ICND1 for fun 1000/1000.I see videos of cbt nugget,read the book of lummle,exercise with boson netsim, GN3 and cisco packet tracer, at the end have fun with 1,001 CCNA Routing and Switching Practice Questions For Dummies book and 9 tut best 9 dollars deposit!!!47 questions total. Both of security testlet and show config simulator + 1 drag drop question + the other question topic inside.My advice be comfortable with all topics before you give the exams!!!At icnd1 exams you learn more and they ask you less..Good luck!!!

I just passed my ISDN 1 exam with a 997/1000.
I studied exclusively from 9tut.
I had 47 questions. it started out of the gate with the Security simlet. it was almost word for word. I was very confident knowing I had gone through all the composite quizzes. there were 5 Sub netting questions.. no ospf, No IPv6, no full simulations. I also had the config simlet. exactly as it appears in 9tut.

My routine for this exam was to study at least 3 hours before lunch and at least 3 hours before I go to bed. If I woke at night I would make sure I did one of the composite quizzes. I was unaware of this cert 2 weeks ago and now I am half way. I hope to finish up the cert inside the nest 2 weeks.

I have to say thank you to 9tut for all the great info and everything I needed to be prepared for the exam.

Just passed ICND1 with 983/1000. This was pretty much down to the free CCNA course in cybrary.it and this site. Thanks guys, ICND2 next.

Passed 100-105. Scorre 953. 2 simulations, no simmlets, 54 questions, 95% old questions

Just passed the 100-101 today.
This is the best site ever but to get anything out of it you need to pay for the premium and go though all of the questions. Most if not all were word for word even the same answer. BUT do not fall into that trap know why its the right answer and sub netting you HAVE to know how to subnet. I used Todd Lammle CBTnuggets and this site.
47 questions in total, 44 normal questions, 2 Simlets 1 drag & drop, No Simulation, No IPV6, No OSPF

Just Passed Today ICND1 with 871/1000.

I prepared with Official cert guide, 9Tut only for a week( As I was not aware this site exists!!!) and did lot of subnetting practice , and use of Cisco Packet Tracer – Done a lot of configuration on VLAN,OSPF,Remote connection,DHCP,ACL,NAT/PAT and IPV6.

It may be too late.. but just wish to update.
No OSPF simulation on exam for me.

I would recommend one list thing.. if you have thoroughly go through Memory Tables that would be enough on top of the other stuff mentioned here.

There were 47 questions in my exam .45 normal questions and 2 simlets. Security and show config. No ospf,ipv6 in my exam @ mike hunt

47 questions 2 simlets (security and sh commands) if you study and use 9tut as help will you pass the exam. No OSPF, ipv6 on my exam.

Passed today! Didn’t score as well as I would have liked to but I passed none the less. Thanks guys.

Passed yesterday. 47 questions. Everything on the test is here on 9 tut except for one of the subnetting questions. It involved factoring in RIPv1, I can’t remember the whole question.

Passed today, almost everything on the test was identical to 9tut. Perhaps one question was different, just understand subnetting really well, the material you should understand, but if you just follow questions on here there is no way you should fail.

I’m deep in Jeremy Ciora’s CBT Nuggets training videos and been preparing for the ICND1 V.2 but I’m not ready to take the exam yet so if i’m going to take the V.3 should I continue the training and then fill in the gaps or start something else or what ?

Just got my ICND-1 today, 903/1000. Gave 11 practice test from 9tut, And 45/47 questions were same. Took bit more time in Security testlet and config sim though. Thank you 9tut.

I was in same boat as you.
I just decided to study really hard and go for v2 , it is valid for 3years and plenty of material to help here. V3 is less well known.

Just go for V2 as last date is Aug 20th.

Believe in yourself, you can do it!!

Thanks for all the advice guys , Passed with an almost perfect score. Didn’t get 1000 though, 🙁 , but was a good pass.

2 Sims Config and Security , really easy. 45 questions mostly from tut, those that aren’t you should have the knowledge to answer them.

What I used to revise:-

1. Used Wendell Odoms book and also 60 days to CCNA (really good).Read these cover to cover.
2. CBT Nuggets course with Jeremy, watch these over and over.
3. Packet tracer KNOW your Show commands.
4. MUST KNOW Subnetting inside out, about 7-8 questions , very easy marks.

Thanks 9tut, passed yesterday with 919, 47 questions, 46 straight from 9tut, the one question I saw had to do with choosing the possible ip address for an interface on a rip v1 network. Two drag and drops, and show command sim and security sim, this last one threw me because the options were quite different from what is on here. All in all, very happy. My studies include the Odom book, Lammle, Udemy ccna boot camp and 9tut. Onto icnd2 & CCNA!

Passed ICND1 with 950. 46 out of 47 questions from here. the two LABs are nearly the same.
However, that was confusing. I am sure I have answered all quesion right, I donät know where I lost those 50 points.
After the exam I was direct back home and rechecked all questions. all answers were right!!

Security Testlet: Follow the answers on here as they are correct. MOTD Banner is a security risk which needs to change.

Show Config: Exactly the same, however the subnet mask was /29 and the interface to the LAN was down not to the ISP.

This site as a premium member is all u need. Best 9 bucks spent. Made 951. Same as the composite quizzes plus the lab Sim and security Sim. The subnetting questions are different numbers so be comfortable with that and u are good to go.

Thanks 9tut! Best 9 dollars i ever spent. Just passed the ICND1 with a 940. Literally everyone question on the exam was the same as word for word on here. Some even had the exact same answers. Had the security and Configuration sim, both on here as well.

Going for ICND2 now. But i see they’re upgrading to version 3. So hopefully 9tut updates with all the new exam info!!

If you study with other resources plus 9tut then definitely you will pass. Just be calm and don’t be nervous like me. It helps with thinking lol
