Hi Guys. Passed with 895 today. I had 8 ACL questions, and the frame relay sim. Use Frame relay map and running-config for that one. Lots of multiple choice on pvst and rstp. Know those well and split horizon, poison reverse drag and drop, also troubleshooting ospf and stp port placement troubleshooting diagram. On to CCNP. Good luck guys and use this site as it is was helpful to strengthen cbt nuggets cds.

Dears, Any body else has ACL questions in his/her exam ?

ACL question? That’s odd…
2 folks got 8 ACL questions today.
I guess it can be explained in 2 ways
1. They both probably took the NEW exam
2. It’s not ACL but Port Security and these are 2 different things

The materials on ICND2 didn’t focus on ACLs at all.
ACL = ICND1 stuff

If Cisco mix ICND1 and ICND2 stuff like this, then there’s no point taking other exam than the original CCNA cert.

Failed exam today w 788, a lot more questions regarding STP. This was the older exam, not the newest. At least 7-9 RSTP questions that were not on this site. 🙁 Also got a different frame-relay sim and another sim i’d never seen, but was able to at least figure out the frame-relay based on what I knew. good luck!

Im gonna sit the exam today, (200-101) i hope that not a lot of the Q´s have been changed, i will report back to you guys.

I dont think its possible that he took the new ICND2 exam, because he said he got Frame-relay, and frame-relay have been taken out of the new exam.

For drag and drop got EIGRP OSPF, and poison reverse (both from Drag and Drop section 2)

Do not believe those trolls trying to scare you, no ACLs, no new question and you know what? There’s no logical reason Cisco would add new questions to cert that is about to be replaced.

Yes, i also thought soo, i did some reading on the exam topics of ICND2 200-101, and cisco dont specify that there are any ACL stuff on ICDN2, also the Official cert guide from Cisco dont have any ACL questions. Soo those “Anonymous” people are just trolls.

I just finished 200-101 & Alhamdo Lillah passed with 906 marks.
@ Markus is 100% right.
No any configuration ( only frame-relay show commands )
No ACL,
All questions were know to me. I can say with little doubt that all from 9tut. Actually I also studies passed reader 211 questions.
Most of the question from OSPF. Drag and drop was route poison and EIGRP/OSPF where default value of EIGR =90.
So all easy questions. go ahead for your exam.

TABO is just right. Just passed with 9xx marks, and all the stuff on 9tut is still relevant.

NO ACL
NO NAT
NO IPV6.

I had 1 new question thats not on 9 tut, but it was very easy, it was a question about EIGRP and there was 3 routers that did not form relationship, because their AS were completely of, like AS 100, 200, 300.

Also got the FRAME-RELAY and OSPF HOTSPOT sim.

The OSPF sim were just the same as 9tut, and the FRAME-RELAY had the same concept, but had other names, also the password was “T1net” and not the answer “Theres is no password needed”. (Read the answer on 9tut when ur answering that question wrong on the quiz to get the explanation).

Else, most of the question were just right, word for word.

Good luck to all ya fellas who are gonna take the exam in the upcoming days, you have nothing to worry about, as long u know all the questions on 9tut.

and i would also gave a big F you to the Trolls who have been saying that there is ACL and a lot of new questions, you literally got my head spinning for a day.

Passed the test a couple of hours ago with just one wrong answer.
Everything as related to CISCO exam topic list for ICND2 200-101, no NAT, ACL.

A couple questions not reported here but easy and comparable as the others found on this site.
FR and EIGRP, no configuration at all.

Took exam on 21/9 and passed the exam.

90%+ of the questions were from here. 4-5 questions weren’t from the composite quizes.

Frame relay Sim was there but with different numbers to the questions so you should understand the meaning behind the answers. Just read the comments below on the sims and you will be fine.

Ospf hotspot sim was there too. It was EXACTLY the same as the one in 9tut.

Today paased ICND2 2 Sims (Frame Relay – OSPF hostpost) 47 questions
2 drag androps (SPLITHORIZON LSA……. AND DTE DCE DLCI……

Passed today, took 200-101, 47 questions, mostly STP, RSTP, Frame Relay, and OSPF with some EIGRP thrown in. Know your EIGRP configs and do yourself a favor, check out the requirement for PPP encapsulation. Also be sure you know “show frame-relay map” inside and out as well as your IP routing troubleshooting commands. Frame Relay and OSPF hot spot “sims”–frame relay sim was very different as far as IP addresses vis-a-vis the 9tut sim, so be sure you know the concepts and all of your IP routing troubleshooting commands. 9xx score, most questions were from 9tut and those that weren’t were not very different from the questions that are here. Study hard, master the concepts behind the 9tut questions, should be good if you’re taking 200-101. Good luck!

Just passed with 973 the 200-101. All the questions are here, pay the premium is worth it. I had the Frame Relay sim; diff names, don’t memorize the answers and you’ll do fine. OSPF hotspot.

DO NOT believe the trolls. There is NO NAT or ACL, I also did not get any IPv6.

Drag and Drop was the LSA, Split Horizon one (thank Goku it was not the Advantage of Packet Switch one). Do all the quizzes you can and study the answers, not just the wrong ones but the right ones as well

I had 2 questions that were new. One on EIGRP, 3 routers that would not form neighbors because they had different AS. Can’t remember the other one

Also the OSPF cost question where all answer had MTU but one in mine it was different, it had BW and BW & Delay, the other 2 had MTU.

Can’t say scores here, then I will just say I missed 1/4 of a points, probably missed one SIM question from carelessness, EVERYTHING question I had is found here, and the only twist I had was I had to go to the routing table to see which subnet was assigned to which interface, which translated to the local DLCI that was assign to that interface.

Again, no memorization, as the exact wording may not be used on the exam, such as the hold down time for router not believing the routes received, would be termed differently, like router not allowing routes to enter the router from improper sources, or something like that. So you gotta know how the answer to a question as derived.

9tut is a tool to verify what you know

Passed the ICND2 today with flying colours. All questions that came up were from this site. One was different where there was 2x answers to the one answer on this site. The ospf hot spot came up alog with the frame relay. Frame relay was worded differently. Also the password part was different for that sim. On the sim on this site it had the answer of no password. But in my sim there was a password required. Money well spent on signing up for the premium membership!

Just came back from taking my ICND 2 exam. I only studied questions from 9tut and nothing else. All questions in the exam were from 9tut. Passed it with 986 and I know what question I got wrong too. I got the frame relay SIM, but it’s really easy. Just apply show frame-relay map and show run to get the information you need for the answers. Today is the last day for 200-101. Good luck to whoever is taking it today.

I just passed my ICND2 (200-101) yesterday with 960.

The FR sim was different but not difficult.
The other sim was EIGRP and I believe it was equal here.

The questions help me a lot!

Well I took it the second time…I passed by the skin of my teeth but in the long run its all the same certification! It doesn’t matter what I say now that today is the last day but it was all about Frame Relay, OSPF, STP/Rstp and EIGRP. The questions that I’m sure I got wrong were on port security. I didn’t study that enough and I’m sure its probably the easiest part of the exam.

I just passed ( 9XX) the ICND2 200-101 around 3 hours ago. It was kind of nerve wrecking at the end since I only had 30 minutes left with both simulations and 17 questions left. I am finally CCNA certified 🙂 There was a VPN Question which was not on this website but I found it on Ensure Pass dump posted by someone after the exam but fortunately I got them right on the exam.Thank you 9TUT and the amazing community members who have been sharing their exam experiences along with the helpful tips, links, explanation and not to mention all the practice exams. You guys all rock 🙂 I am definitely looking forward to obtaining CCNP in the near future.

There were 5/6 questions that were not on 9UT PDF dump (they are in Ensure Pass dump which I found here too on this site. Someone was nice enough to put them here). Here they are:

SIM: Frame Relay Barcelona ( one of the routers seemed to have an incorrect IP address 10.4.0.4 which confused the hell out of me since it didn’t match with the Show Frame Relay MAP output IP but I chose the closest matching IP to select the DLCI, For Password there was a configuration for Username : North (One of the routers) and I selected the Password Console and Hotspot was exactly like the 9TUT one)
Only 1 IPV6 question ( 9TUT one 🙂

I passed my ICND2 exam yesterday!
I must admit that even after reading all of the comments and tips, I was still apprehensive about taking the exam. I had studied for 30 days straight I think I was suffering from Information Overload. Having said that though, everyone was correct: All of the information that you need is right here on 9tut; The OSPF and Frame relay simulators. all of the VLAN, EIGRP, and BLGP questions. Know all of your show commands. The router sim that I got sorta threw me for a loop as it was a more complete sim that didn’t start in privilege mode like the others. If you study at least the first 7 composite quizzes you will pass without a hitch.

The premium access was worth having everything in one places, and very good explanations that clarified some concepts I was uncertain with. 9Tut all the way!

Passed ICND2 today. It was tough. I had OSPF, GRE, and EGRIP sims. They were similar, but not exact. Know what routers should have authentication info for PPP. To expand on that, where the username and password should be. On mine, both Rx and Ry were missing the user name and password.
-What is the MAX hello and dead times?
-I got that stupid ‘how do you disable DTP’ question. I think its make it an access port, but who knows.

There were a few other questions that weren’t in the dumps that Ill try and remember and put on here. But for the most part, if you can pass the composite quizzes and know all the ‘New Questions’ you should be fine. I only used 9Tut and there were abut 9 questions that I was unsure about and hadn’t seen before.

Practice the SIMs. I Don’t know if you get the SIMs unless you pay for the Premium Membership, but I got the membership (for 9 bucks) and I passed both the ICND1 and ICND2 and have this site to thank for it.

Just passed ICND2. The practice sims were very helpful, but the answers were a little different on the exam. Additionally, I only encountered 5-6 questions which were not in the question database. Best advise is to study the questions and go through the simulations so you understand them. Thanks 9tut the site helped me pass ICND1 and ICND2. Now I feel confident to take training courses on route, switch and tshoot and utilize 9tut to prepare for the exam. Best $18 I ever spent in my entire life.

Franklin – Yep, pass last week. Just make sure you’re getting 99 percent on all study questions and pay the 9 dollars for the premium and you should be fine.

Garlic fried rice is one of my favorite things, even if it’s just normal rice with Perfect side to anything! I just made this really good lemon garlic baked salmon yesterday and tripled the amount of garlic it actually calls It was wonderful! Basically put lemon juice in a pan with garlic, let it reduce down, add butter, and then take off the Put the fish I used salmon on a piece of foil and spoon/brush the sauce over it, then salt/pepper/other Wrap the rest of the foil around it and bake at 375 for 15 minutes!
