Hi, I am about to take the ICND1 exam, im really confused about the format of the LAB sims? Is it multiple choice but we have to answer the questions based off the diagram given? (ex OSPF and Security testlet?)

I feel really confident but the labs are throwing me off, does anyone know specifically what to study for the security testlet and the show commands lab? I would really appreciate it, this is my first Cisco exam and I really dont want to waste the money not knowing what i am getting into.

All questions (47) were from here.
For the labs got something similar to the security simulation lab, as well as the one on ICND1 – Troubleshooting and the Configuration Simulator.

No IPV6, No OSPF Questions.
Advise: get good in sublneting, understand the questions here and you will pass.

when you refer to troubleshooting, are you refering to any Sim? Or that you got the questions from the troubleshooting quiz??

What was the percentage of questions that you got from your exam that are present in these latest dumps?

i'd say 95% was from 9tut.
1 question was not here, it showed 3 routers and you had to figure out what IP to put on FA 0/1.
So if you know Sub-netting , which you should you can figure this one out.

I have to say I was nervous at first, then I realized I was 80% done, and it was only 20 minutes into the exam.

I studied using a Lynda.com, I have access through my library (btw its free), I watched Lazaro Diaz ICND 1 course.

On to ICDN 2

I could able to see the link for the ccna 200 – 120 questions but couldn’t find for both icnd1 and icnd2. As I am sitting for the exam in 10 days, I would really appreciate any help on this.

same question as in 9tut… except for router privilaged mode is encrypted and for switch vty no login

did anyone have the security testlet or show command sim? how was it different from the one on 9tut

We can’t go back once we move to next question. There is no back button till you finish exam. All you have is next button.

@anonymous Thank you! im mainly nervous because all the comments on the security smlet are confusing, and debating the answers 9tut gives. But hopefully itll make sense on the exam and ill figure it out before then

If anyone could also answer does the exam take points off in the simulations if you type in the wrong show command? like for example if you use show ip interface and it says that command has been disabled on the exam, can you try again without losing points and type in the right answer such as show ip protocols?

Study everything on this site, as random questions came from nearly every part of the ICND1 sections. I personally had no OSPF sim or drag and drop.

which questions did you go through on 9tut.net ? i can see that some of the topics like ipv6 , and ospf, vlans, etc are listed as part of icnd 2 . its really confusing for me . did you study all of the questions listed in icnd 1 and 2 both ? or you just went through with only listed questions in icnd 1? and simlets ? any sort of advise will help would be greatly appreciated .

I think it must be D. TTL is used within the IP header to discards packets on the network.

Did my icnd 1 today was very nervous and scared but then i nailed it and passed with 900 + marks . did a lots of hard work to obtain this certification .
9Tut was very helpfull and i have to say that 98% question was from 9TUTnet .
no ipv 6, no ospf and random questions came from every part of icnd ……so do prepare very well and especially SUBNETTING because that’ what you are going get the most . and since m pretty solid with it….. i was able to manage it …………and make sure you do a lots of exercise before you decide to take on the exam.
All the best and m now on to my next icnd 2 to complete my CCNA .

TABO – all my questions came from here under the composite quizzes and the 2 sims were from security and show config here as well. Study the quizzes and the sims and you’ll do great.

passed my CCENT with 93* june 10 all questions are on 9tut, lab sims are the same that are showing here I used odem book, youtube and google for subnetting You have to know how to subnet if you want to pass this test..

The CCENT 100-101 exam will be retired on 20/Aug/2016, then, the 100-101 exam will be replaced by the new 100-105 exam!

No IPV6 or ACLs

Beware on Q49 I had OSPF sim with 20 mins left so took my time, Q50 was the show sim and I ran out of time. As I had already completed the security sim I wasn’t expecting the last 2 Qs to be both sims, a bit naughty I thought.
Plus the last 2 sims had different answers to here, so they both had to be worked through and hence I ran out of time.

Anyone passed ICND1 recently in any of the Scandinavian countries? Are questions still the same as here? Thanks and good luck to y’all! 🙂

Alhamdo Lilah, I just completed my ICND-1 exam and passed. show configuration SIM was on exam with little different IP mask. security testlet was also in exam same as 9tut.
95% questions was same as in 9tut. no OSPF, RIP and IPV6 were in exam.
just prepare 9tut and confident for exam. thanks 9tut.

I took the exam on 27/6 and passed with 935/1000. Almost all of the questions were from 9tut. Secuirity Telstet and Show configuration sims were there. They were exactly the same as the ones from 9tut!
