  23. pal
    June 18th, 2017

also some questions you will see a lot of conflicting answer so you will need to google and decide which answer you want to give because the truth is only CISCO know the correct answer.,

and the LabSim and testlet and understand why some answers are wrong and you will pass

  28. pal
    June 19th, 2017

study labsim and testlet from 9tut. really i failed twice until i realized this. but the key difference for me was knowing why the answers in the labs were wrong and right from the config

  29. ccna
    June 19th, 2017

@pal do you mean the improper wording question

  30. pal
    June 19th, 2017

@CCNA all the questions because the answer is always different it might be improper wording depends on the config if it says ‘WELCOME’ its improper wording. but if you know that the other answers are worng based on the config its helps you know what the right answer is

  31. ccna
    June 19th, 2017

@pal i mean are there any wrong answers,
i thing improper wording answer is correct, according to you if there is welcome then it is wrong so the answer is right

  32. ccna
    June 19th, 2017

@pal so in the exam if there is welcome in banner that means it is inappropriate wording am i correct?

  33. pal
    June 19th, 2017

@CCNA yep that was my understanding of it. I had a ‘welcome’ banner and i selected inappropriate wording.

    http://www.routerfreak.com/is-your-router-login-banner-inviting-attackers-in/

its a security sim after all.

  34. ccna

here are all the new question added

Which feature automatically disables CEF when it is enabled?

    A. RIB
    B. ACL logging
    C. multicast
    D. IP redirects

    Answer: B

    Explanation

ACL Logging means to use the “log” or “log-input” parameters at the end of the ACL statements. For example: “access-list 100 deny icmp any any echo reply log-input”. In either situation, remember that using either of these two parameters disables CEF switching, which seriously impacts the performance of the router.

    Reference:

    Question 21

Which NAT term is defined as a group of addresses available for NAT use?

    A. one-way nat
    B. static nat
    C. dynamic nat
    D. nat pool

    Answer: D

    Question 22

Which statement about NTP is true?

    A. each device is enabled as server by default
    B. the default authentication key number is 1
    C. the default stratum number is 5
    D. the default source of a NTP message is the interface connected to the next-hop for server peer address

    Answer: D

    Explanation

There is no document saying the default mode of NTP is server so we assume answer A is not correct.

There is no default authentication key number -> B is not correct.

If the network has “ntp master” configured and it cannot reach any clock with a lower stratum number, the system claims to be synchronized at the configured stratum number, and other systems synchronize to it via NTP. By default, the master clock function is disabled. When enabled, the default stratum is 8 -> Answer C is not correct.

NTP sets the source IP address for all NTP packets based on the address of the interface through which the NTP packet are sent. But there is no correct answer so maybe answer D is the best choice.

    Question 23

Which information is used to install the best route to a destination in IP routing table?

    A. the tunnel ID
    B. the interface number
    C. the prefix length
    D. the autonoums system

    Answer: C

are there any ospf sim or infrastrucutre questions for exam

  71. Vagabond
    June 21st, 2017

@ccna Thank you so much for that so that’s all 9tut has added for new questions? and I Think question 21 is wrong it should be dynamic pool..? Am I wrong?

  72. Vagabond
    June 21st, 2017

*dynamic nat .. so they have not added anything new besides those questions?? I appreciate the posting

  73. ccna
    June 21st, 2017

i found these question in google and shared it to 9tut support team, and they replied me with these answers and what about ospf questions

  74. Vagabond
    June 21st, 2017

question 21 should be DYNAMIC NAT Please check that, and really I thought 9tut posted it from the start? so they added it to part 3 because you shared it with them? I don’t think there is that many OSPF questions…but I want an update on exam taker my exam is Saturday..I cant afford to fail it..

  75. ccna
    June 21st, 2017

can you explain why it is dynamic nat, or did you found that answer any where in the google

  76. Vagabond
    June 21st, 2017

I found it on google..I noticed some 9tut answers are incorrect…search up dynamic NAT on google and it says the keyword “group of addresses” NAT pool has to do with exhaustion with Ip Addresses..

  77. Vagabond
    June 21st, 2017

I wish I googled the answers for most of the questions..some of them are terribly wrong and thats why I failed the exam..

  78. Vagabond
    June 21st, 2017

please check for me…and I just also want to know what are the questions on exam..so 9tut hasn’t updated anything besides the part 3 questions you posted?

  79. ccna
    June 21st, 2017

for what answers i found different from 9tut and google i posted them they replied with the explanation so i feel 9tut answers are correct

  80. Vagabond
    June 21st, 2017

most are correct on 9tut so they added nothing new besides those questions?

o configure the pool of global IP addresses:

    dynamic nat pool

    NOTE – the pool configured above consists of 5 addresses: 4.4.4.1, 4.4.4.2, 4.4.4.3, 4.4.4.4, and 4.4.4.5.

    To enable dynamic NAT:

    dynamic nat enabling

The command above tells the router to translate all addresses specified in the access list 1 to the pool of global addresses called MY_POOL.

  83. Vagabond
    June 21st, 2017

so is this saying dynamic NAT is correct for the group of addresses question right..

  94. ICND1

  95. ICND1
    June 21st, 2017

Which RFC was created to alleviate the depletion of IPv4 public addresses?

    C. RFC 1518

    thats the answer on 9tut

You have configured the host computers on a campus LAN to receive their DHCP addresses form the local router to be able to browse their corporate site.
Which statement about the network environment is true?

    B. Two host computers may be assigned the same IP address.

both of them came on the exam too

  96. Vagabond
    June 21st, 2017

why does 9 tut say A for the 2nd question?? how is it B now

  97. ICND1
    June 21st, 2017

sorry, A. It supports a DNS server for use by DHCP clients.

  98. Vagabond
    June 21st, 2017

I know what you’re talking about I have been practicing it so DHCP is enabled for it what did you answer was it the shutdown condition option?

  99. ICND1
    June 21st, 2017

Another hint: for you to make the lab easier no matter what they change just start with the answers and troubleshoot and start from top to bottom and check one by one. Again you will have to understand what you looking for not memorizing. If you just memorize you will not pass.
