Passed with 9xx/832. 351q is still valid, but had maybe two questions that were not listed in the dump. If this dump is supplementing other study methods you will do just fine.

I had the DHCP sim, RIPv2 sim and the Security Testlet on my test recently.

Took the exam and passed with a good score. Except for one question, all other questions including the simulation questions were from the 3 test banks. But please make sure to understand the simulation concepts, cos even though the questions and options might be the same, the answers will not be. Even though the question and options look familiar, read all the options, check each option and then answer the question. This is applicable mostly only to simulations. All the best guys!

@sahel 2 question answer is b – ping ipv6. 128-bit address is ipv6 address. Command ping use only for ipv4. Ping ipv6 for ipv6 address – 128 bit address.

@ sahel but ping ipv6 is also correct. If you try it on cisco router both ping and ping ipv6 is correct, bur if you try on computer correct is ping.

Took test today and passed with 95x. Most of the questions were from 9tuts ICND1 PDFs. 2 Sims were DHCP Sim and Show Config sim with totally different configuration for each, so make sure to thoroughly understand given config. Anyway, thanks 9tut team for an immense help.

Has anyone recently taken the ICND1 exam shed some light on the OSPF topics?

the syllabus doesnt mention anything about OSPF yet the problems in the pdf has alot of OSPF problems. Can i ignore those OSPF problems?

I took the exam last Monday(8-28) and passed! This is DEFINATELY the place you want to be. They did change a few things on the questions, different IP, different configs, and had a couple new questions. Really make sure you understand why the answer is what is it so you can get the most out of it.

How does a router handle an incoming packet whose destination network is missing from the Routing table?

a it discards the packet
c it routes the packet to the default route

Answer is a but why. It must route the paket to the default route isn’t it?

Can anyone shed some light on the OSPF section of the 100-105 ?

@Skvok : Router simple drops any packets for any destination which doesn’t have routes in routing table.

@wolfy : OSPF isn’t covered in ICND1. Only minimal questions like “Which one of the following are link-state routing protocols.

@subzero2007 default route is a part of routing table or not exactly? I mean if there is no route then router use default route. Words “there is no route” means that even no default route or what?

When you issue iproute, you will see some static or dynamic routes. But when you issue a default route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 then that means that pass any traffic out 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0. You can either issue multiple static routes or issue one default route and both of them will work. But if there is no default route then the router will drop packets. The questions are bit tricky so you have to understand what it is asking

so @wolfy, what do you think the right answer?
it’s a really tricky question as such … but both answers looks to be correct and depends on the situaiton …

destination network is not in the routing table … router will drop the packet ..
destination network is not in the routing table … but has a default route … router will route the packet to the default route

however, question is not mentioning if default route is present or not … so it’s a fair game!

Practice on sims ….i got DHCP with same questions but different answers .
My suggestion is to look at all options( a,b,c,d) and match with your configurations for R1,R2,R3
fo rexample ACL was wrongly placed in my case so host can’t connect to internet .

can you please advise if there are new questions are added on the exam and advise me please if i study the dumps exam 100-105 form PassLeader that i will be pass?

The study materials I used came from ciscopress. ICND1 labs, CIsco CCNA routing and switching exclusive edition book. I also took Cisco classes at the local community college and watched countless hours of youtube videos regarding many ICND1 topics. The entire process took a little more than 2 years off an on. You damn near have to know the material so well that you are motivated to teach others. GOOD LUCK TO ALL, YOU WILL PASS!!

I will not only rely on these dumps. There were maybe 3-4 questions at max at the exam. Goodluck studying. Most of these dumps are invalid

@Pleasereadthis thanks!… So you say the labs are the same but the configs diff…but are the answers still generally the same though? basically saying are they just changing like the router configs like IP address ,,etc but answers still same as whats seen on here?

Labs where the same topology they change all the running-config of the routers sw and ect.But the question and answers in general are the same.

Just look for what they are asking in every question and see the configuration base on the answer and you will past. Study as well the sims here because they have almost the same questions and answer but differents configs.

Thanks!… So let me give everyone an update…I just took the exam this morning for the 2nd time… The first time i took a week ago and made the stupidest mistake and accidentally skipped a sim expecting the question which wsa the reason i failed…i got a 801 … all the multiple choice and sims (beside the one i skipped) were from this site!…i would says 95% of the questions and sims were covered on Jolie’s pdf that is circulating… NOW… I took the exam again this morning…suprised that about 1/3 of test was questions i never seen and let me tell you i studied Jolie’s pdf and knew everything… The sims were the same but like previous mentioned the configs are changed up so pay attention!… I def thought i was gonna fail since about 15 questions were new but surprisingly i ended up with a score in the 900’s! .. So moral of story is that Yes these questions on here will def help you but it seems Cisco is churning out some new ones as well so hopefully someone can get there hand on those and just take your time reading everything thoroughly

Also the Sims is were you get the most points from so try your best on those..

Cleared my exam today. Several new questions but not difficult to answer if you prepared well. A number of questions from this site ( may be around 50% ) & the DHCP Sim topology appeared but with different objectives so you should read carefully the question. The RFC( ipv4 address depletion ) appears in my exam.

Sat the this morning, didn’t pass sadly. Saw a few questions from the 351q but majority of the exams contained new questions I hadn’t seem from my practice. The lab sims and the testlet were the same. The drag and drop question I hadn’t seen before. Well have to do some more practice and then hope for the best the second time
