    From a previous post:

    HappyCCNA August 30th, 2013
    “Took the exam yesterday (got 930 pts)
    According the OSPF
    one of the new question is:- how many networks learnded R1 from OSPF (i took 2 but this answer is not correct) but there are 6 possibilities (i took the wrong one)
    the 2nd new one – i can not remember (sorry)
    VTP: something should be changed on the correct (old) router but as i want to check the config – the sim crashes down (every command was not accepted) and so i took only 93% for this sim
    FR – sim: same as here but with the misspelled IP.
    2-3 new questions but with no big weight for the test result
    The level for passing this exam was 825 pts.
    Good luck ”

    “Hey guys i passed my CCND2 and completed my CCNA. i got 972/1000. Question 1 had a new question on it. How many routes would need to be added to R1 in the OSPF table answers was like 1 2 3 or 4. know your OSPF and other routing protocols really well and your IPv6. with the new exam coming in they want you to know your ipv6 routing and wan technologies to the T. I really didn’t get very many questions from 9tut or dumps considering new material is being added so luckily i knew my work really well 🙂 Good luck guys Greetings from south africa 😀 onto the CCNP!!”

    Did anybody else get this new OSPF question?
    If they did can you let me know the answer to the question regarding ‘how many routes needed to be added in the OSPF table question

    888 Pass.. HeavyMod and this site TOTALLY.

    Only 2-3 I have not seen before. VTP sim (The VTP was last ip in mgt domain… Mgt domain was .189.. You have to use .190 to get it right.

    / Frame Relay, OSPF (no configuration – The frame relay #4 was not on the sim here.. the question was what password is used to telnet.. but the link was PPP/Chap…)

    4-5 ACL questions. The IPv6 all-rip router FF02::09… Probably 3-5 IPV6 ?s total. 3-4 Drag-n-Drop….
    *icnd2-drag-and-drop-questions-2 #2 (that’s all that I see right now)
    Drag-n-drop for vlsm.. the question has a diagram w 4 networks and you have to drag to each one…

    I thought it was a bit harder than the first test, but nonetheless its a pass. Took 50 minutes and I was going at a pretty fast pace. I definitely over studied, but I didn’t want to take a chance on it. Good luck!

    Just came back from taking the exam. Scored 888, don’t underestimate the exam, they took all the hard multiple choice questions from the HeavyMod dump. IF you are studying this dump I suggest you study or try to memorize the more difficult questions. As far as the test, I got the Frame Relay, OSPF, and VTP sims. The drag and drops were: split horizon, hold down timer, the easy ones. The exam is passable but you just have to study the right stuff. Good luck to all and thanks to 9tut for a great site such as this.

    Passed ICND2 today with 944. Frame-Relay sim, VTP sim, ton of Drag &Drops. Same as person above me, do not memorize order of answers. They are all switched up, so know the work. 90% of questions in HeavyMod dump and 9tut… the other 10% are new questions. Good luck!

    Barely passed today 860, I found this site last tuesday sept 3rd and just tried to learn as much as possible, I bought that guide from Testinside a month ago and most of the material are here as well. Didn’t have the time to review the whole site but for sure, you can get the best of this 2 as I took screenshots of the software if you want to download them. http://rapidgator.net/file/86002847eb768fbec9f5e7dccbaa2f38/Test_Inside_ICND2.zip.html
    Recomendation: same as nj323 and the guy above DO NOT LEARN THE ORDER OF THE ANSWERS, definetely they won’t be in the same order, neither this site or my screenshots
    Frame relay SIM was on my test as well, look for it here http://www.9tut.com/ccna-hotspot-questions
    best of luck to you guys, there were other labs that my guide didn’t have and like I said, probably are here but didn’t have the chance to check the whole site. Best of luck to you.

    passed high 9XX! heavy mod dump very valid – had VLSM dnd – frame relay hotspot, VTP configuration sim – had a couple of questions I’ve not seen before. I lived and breathed ICND2 material for over 2.5 weeks Odom’s book, CBT nuggets, configureterminal.com CCNA memoriser (very valuable) dumps plus 9tut. As others have mentioned, it is not enough to memorize the order/placement of answers (i.e b and c choices in a multiple answer) you have to know the answer – what the VCE engine could really do with is something to randomize the order of the answers, so you get used to looking for the right answer, and not just the positioning of the answers (if that makes sense) – study hard and you’ll make it!

  32. nj323
    September 6th, 2013

    like Harry Monk said. some type of “randomizer” for the order of the answers in VCE would be a huge help!! Get this ICND2 done before sept 30 everyone…. good luck!

  33. Hello
    September 6th, 2013

    @nj323/@Harry Monk
    what areas were the new questions you got related to? (ie, wan, ipv6, switching)

  34. Harry Monk
    September 6th, 2013

    Now you’re asking! I think one was a choice of 6 IPv6 addresses, but I had not seem them before – you had to choose 4 valid. VLSM drag and drop was the ‘Dentist’ routers scenario – /26, /27 then /28 (or may have been /28 then /27 – can’t remember how many hosts you had to cover) then the last address in the /30 for the serial link – hope that helps – but I would say overall probably close on 95% on heavy mod dump

  39. passed icnd 2
    September 7th, 2013

    As you guessed from the title i passed incd2 yesterday, study material was CBT Nuggets, 9tut and heavy mod dump. Got a score of 972. I had the 45q exam with frame relay sim, Vtp and Ospf testlet. The OSPF testlet had 2 new qs. One was: of the networks connected to R1 how many networks will show in the routing table assuming it has been set up for ospf classful routing answers are 1,2,3,4 … I picked 3. The second q i cant remember exactly but it was a command based one but i guessed that as id never seen them before. Make sure you use the enable command before the show commands on the frame relay sim as i made that school boy error and wasted time wondering why my commands wernt working. I put that down to exam nerves. But to be honest apart from the new qs on FR sim i had no others. Study heaymod well, aswell as this site for the sims and you cant go wrong. And get this exam done before the end of this month. The new icnd2 is suppose to be solid. Thanks 9tut! Best of look to everyone, im going on to CCNA Voice.

  40. Harry Monk
    September 8th, 2013

    just to clarify what I said up there, when I said last /30 address I actually mean the second of the two /30 addresses you are presented with, because the first is the network address – GLA (good luck all)

    Failed the exam, missed it by a single question. SO CLOSE.

  42. Nimal
    September 9th, 2013

    Passed the exam with a good score. Got both VTP sim and the Frame Relay hotspot question. except for 1 or 2 new questions all other are from this site and Heavymod dump. fair few IPv6 qs, but all from this site and heavymod.

    Good luck for all guys. I will check this site from time to time this month and help out with qs as I can.

    Best advices as all the people above you have passed well is,
    – Understand the concept and not the qs and answers
    – Practice well, and know corrects how you get the answers listen in this site and dumps.

    My sources were CBT nuggets, Youtube, *The Wendel Odom book* which I very HIGHLY recommend for anyone, and INE videos which are free:
    http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLA0AF9A1586D50544

    Good luck to you all!.. For those guys who have done the hard work and actually tried to learn the concepts, all you need is to practice those qs and go for the exam.

  43. Nimal
    September 10th, 2013

    I guess I was too sleepy to type 🙂 What I meant to say was..

    Best advices that I can pass on are the same as those provided by the folks commented above who have passed well
    – Understand the concepts well! dont just memorize qs and answers. on the exam, the order of the answers will be different. there may be other changes as well
    – Practice well and make sure you know how and why the answers provided are “correct”

    Good luck!

  44. BB
    September 10th, 2013

    Just passed ICND 2 with score of 972 🙂 after months of hard work. Ok guys listen,

    – 45questions 75 mins pass score 825
    – Heavymode dump + 9tut = 95%.
    – don’t remember answers, they are scrambled.
    – Frame relay show sim => http://www.9tut.com/ccna-hotspot-questions/comment-page-12#comments
    – vtp config sim => https://www.9tut.net/icnd2/icnd2-labsim/vtp-configuration-sim#more-129
    -ospf =>https://www.9tut.net/icnd2/ospf-questions Q1

    REMEMBER 2 new questions in ospf Q1
    1. what are the 2 commands to load balance between R3 and R4.

    hope this is helpful guys. make sure you know the concepts and you’ll be fine.

    Good luck!

  45. Serverguy
    September 10th, 2013

    Passed with 950+ today. Studied in Networking Academy at my university, CBT Nuggets and practiced with Packet Tracer. Also used Heavymod and 9tut to get a feeling for real exam questions. Just two or three questions on the exam that I didn’t already see before.

    As already said many times: Don’t just memorize dump answers. You have to know the stuff. Even if you can pass the exam somehow without knowing the material, you will fail in the real world because you’re just a fake CCNA.

  46. Unknown_Territory
    September 10th, 2013

    @Serverguy

    I wouldn’t go around labeling people as ‘fake CCNA’. You and I both know that without the dumps one would need considerable amount of study to pass. Just my 2 Cents

  47. Serverguy
    September 10th, 2013

    Sure, and I’m not saying that using dumps is bad (did it myself), but you still have to know the material. E.g. if you see a picture in a question and instantly know that answer #X ist correct but don’t understand why the other answers are wrong (maybe don’t even understand why the selected answer is correct, because you don’t know the technology), then that’s not good. Go ahead and use dumps, nothing wrong with them or this site, just try to understand the answers presented.

  48. Unknown_Territory

    You are right, good point!

  49. Miffy
    September 10th, 2013

    failed today with 818 – so..I was 1-1.5 questions off. had an unexpected OSPF hotspot question just like the frame-relay one (which i also got) the OSPF example, i can’t find anywhere on this site..probably got 3/4 on the OSPF. results came back 80%+ in all areas except ACL. which I am ok with doing on the labs etc..know the syntax..but having a hard-time with those..”limit subnet .1 .2 .3 .4 with 2 statements” and that’s what killed it. did not had any eigrp questions. got a total of 4 labs and 3 drag n drops. 3 new questions. going right back next monday.

  51. elito
    September 10th, 2013

    ^wanted to add that the OSPF was not like the one from here or any of the dumps. only the first question was kinda hard – in which it askes you about “what routes” would populate in the routing table.

  52. Nimal
    September 11th, 2013

    @elito,
    was it Question 1 & 2 from here that you got on OSPF?..
    https://www.9tut.net/icnd2/ospf-questions

    if so please check the comments on it below where I have posted the lab sim using PT. I got this one and a similar Q where i was asked what routes would R1 learn via ospf and display as ospf routes on the routing table. honesty, it’s not that hard if you understand the ospf concepts

    i was also asked an OSPF load balancing question under the same section.. A very basic load balancing question I should say. it was covered in Wendel Odoms, Official cert guide, OSPF chapter

    you were pretty close to the pass mark. please check out more qs on this site and try again. about 96% of the qs I got are from this site and the examcollection dumps

  53. elito
    September 11th, 2013

    @nimal – i wish it was those, but it was unfortunately a total different hotspot. the first question on the hotspot presented was something along the lines of “what routes would be present in router1 according to the diagram of the OSPF with 3 routers? then you’re to select the answers where they present you, the network/route with which interface. yes, the ones here are simple. and i do understasnd ospf. the ACL’s that i was presented totally killed me, as i was hoping for DnD ACL list or ACL sim or ACL syntax’s but it wasn’t. kept on feeding me – ACL with summarization. – with limiting access for subnets .x.x.x.x –

    September 11th, 2013

    Thx 9tut. Passed. VTP and FR lab and several IPV6 questions which were not mentioned within 9tut. Additional questions like: block only one telnet user/with encrypted passw, three eigrp routers with different process id’s/why not communicate , three routers/sh ip route eigrp/route from R1 to R3.

    If necessary, please be aware that it takes five days to schedule a new exam.

    Today Passed with 1000/1000…
    I am happy but confused, I prepared myself from online material, book and then I gone through ALL THE QUESTIONS on 9tut (2-3 times) and also GOT PASS4SURE DUMPS… All questions were from these two, except one which was about OSPF (as mentoned by user “Unknown_Territory” by the way R1 learns 4 Networks from OSPF in that question).

    Though I got 100% marks, but I am not 100% confident on CCNA, as I am new in networking and started from scratch, BUT I have developed myself very well over the last four months, I mainly used two free online study sources (Urdu IT Academy and Dan Courses) and made my concepts clear and i did practice configurations of all topics on PT and that was the reason that I was able to solve every sim in exam (where configuration was new or different) and when I finished my test, I was only left 4 mins….

    But having said I think the main reason of getting 1000 marks is dumps. So my questions are:
    what you guys think about this?
    Employers are not gonna ask how comes 100% marks for a new guy who did not have real experience??
    because of this confusion I am not able to enjoy my success, so please guys help me, all seniors and heroes of this site please answer me?? and please give me honest opinion even it is harsh!! Thanks in advance!!

    i have taken my ICND2 Exam Today, got 1000/1000..very happy. Followed 9tut, new dumps on VCE and cbt nugget videos.

    In that exam i got VTP sim, drag and drop IP question.

    @Sahil: Got 1000 points proved you grasp the concept of CCNA very well. No one can reach that score without understanding the concept behind each question. We hope you continue learning higher Cisco certification because nowadays many new technologies come up while CCNA cannot cover all. Moreover learning higher Cisco certifications also help you review your CCNA knowledge and boot your confidence.

    @9tut: Thanks so much for the reply! that really helped!!

    One more dumb question: Do Employers really ask for score card (marks) at interview or can they check marks online??
    because on certificate it doesn’t say abt marks and only say certified and even online verification is also only proved Name of candidate not the marks.
    Thanks in advance and specially to administrators of this site, You are doing a great great job, it was mainly your EXPLANATIONS of the answers that made my concepts cleared!!!

    Taking icnd2 in a few hours and really freaking out! I took icnd1 and did very well on it, thanks to this site. From this site, I studied all icnd1 links and most everything there was on the exam. I’m praying to God its the same situation for icnd2 because I’ve studied EVERYTHING from the icnd2 links from this site (amongst a ton of other resources.) I’m now looking at the ccna links and am seeing a LOT of things that are not covered in the icnd2 links so I’m sitting here wondering if I’m going to get slammed with ccna questions from this site that I haven’t studied! I’m hoping the icnd2 links and the ccna links are seperate on this site for a reason! Anyway, great site, please wish me luck and thank you 9tut!

    I did it! thanks 9tut , passed 640-802, I thinking now about CCNA security or voice which one would you recommend?

  65. Anonymous
    September 12th, 2013

    I did great! Scored 930/1000. I’ll tell you what, EVERYTHING on ICND2’s pages from 9tut is LEGIT’ just like it was for ICND1. Study this site and make sure you actually UNDERSTAND the concepts because the IP values are indeed different for many of the things. But this site is AMAZING and completely propelled me to passing.

    I got the Frame Relay Sim, the VTP sim, OSPF/EIGRP DND, the STP page where you have 4 swithces and need to figure out which ports are in certain states….seriously, EVERYTHING on this site is absolutely legit. Utilize it in your learning!

    Thank you for the good wishes and thank you 9tut for this site! Don’t ever take it down and keep updating it!

    I WILL be donating a few bucks to this site.

    Good luck to everyone. If I can do it, you definitely can too!

    Oh and just so you know – per my original post, the stuff I was freaking out about in regards to the CCNA pages bleeding into the ICND2 pages was NOT a problem. The person that set this site up is ON POINT.

    I’m not saying that stuff on the CCNA section won’t be on ICND1 for absolute, but, for my experience, it wasn’t. The sims on ICND1 were on my ICND1 test; there were NO sims from the CCNA section. So this site is organized very well!

  67. J@M
    September 13th, 2013

    @Eric_MX

    I’m going down the voice track – EVERYONE wants unified comms/voice/video – the way I see it, routing and switching, wireless, operations and security are the backbone of the network and all customers kind of expect that and have it sorted.

    The cutting edge right now is video, presence, mobility etc. So its the voice track for me…or collaboration as its now known. There is so much more to voice than routing and switching IMHO

    Good luck all

    @9tut, why isn’t there an section for ACL questions? they do come on in the ICND2 exam, but there is ACL questions on the CCNA site. just a curiosity – no biggie.

  69. WLD
    September 14th, 2013

    Just thought I would say that I passed ICND2 yesterday with a 972. I studied from 9tut, CBT Nuggets, Cisco press book and HeavyMod.

    On the exam I had the VTP Labsim and also the Frame-Relay Sim. I had seen all questions from this site and HeavyMod except for one where it was an OSPF testlet where you have to answer how many routes R1 would learn.

    Had questions on VLAN, IPV6, EIGRP, had the drag n drop with poison reverse, split horizon, holddown timers and LSA. There was also questions where you had to work out that links on the end of serial interface where not in the same network.

    Good luck to all who are trying to pass before the end of the month!

    Hey guys, is the Frame Relay SIM the one about the mid east routers and the DLCI’s, encapsulations etc? Also, whats this OSPF one that everyones freaking about?

    ^ yes, use sh run and sh frame-relay map commands and the questions are related to which interface to DLCI etc – it’s the same one as here on 9tut

    Passed ICND2 today in UK with 944.

    Studied CBT Nuggets, Trainsignal, Heavymod dump and of course this site. A huge thanks to everyone on 9tut for their input and advice.

    I had only one Sim and it was the VTP, also had two simlets.

    Best of luck to anyone else taking this test.

    September 17th, 2013

    @Help

    All questions identical to the heavymod dump although answers in different order.

    The VTP Sim differed in the IP address to be used for the new switch. It asked to use the first available IP in the range, the gateway and switch held the first two therefore the third IP in the range was first available.

    Glad to help.

    passed today. again, scored 33% on ACL which is beyond me and i got the same damn ACL question.. need 2 statements that would only allow 192.168.146-149.0 to access the network. the choises were along the lines of 192.168.146.0 0.0.255.255 192.168.147.0 0.0.0.255 192.168.148.0 0.0.0.255 192.168.149.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.146.0 0.0.1.255 – ive tried tyo remember as much as i can..but wow..im lost at the answers – i was looking for 0.0.3.255 which is not availible. anyone has gotten that question ? what wouldve been the correct answer? but my scores on all other areas were 85%+ this time, so the ACL score couldnt fail me this time. FINALLY CCNA. *CHEERS*

    Congrats elito

    the answer should be
    access-list 10 permit ip 192.168.146.0 0.0.1.255
    access-list 10 permit ip 192.168.148.0 0.0.1.255

    this question was on HeavyMod.

    @help omg. was that it? sheesh. i was so itching to pick those 0.0.1.255 ones just because..they felt it was teh right one,,because..each .1 would cover 1 extra network. omg. ah.thanks much man, that has finally solved the mystery for me.

    Fail. Took the supposed ICND2 640-816 today and there was nothing like the material contained on this site. No VTP, No VLSM, No Drags and Drop (except 1, had Split Horizon), no ACL or NAT. It was all about SNMP and Netflow. 2 Different SIMS OSPF and EIGRP (not on this site or dump) A lot IPV6. I nailed ICND1 exam but this wasnt the test I prepared for. Please reply.

    @TrickedbyCisco

    Are you sure you apply for the right test?

    It seems like they gave you a new test version (200-101)

    I hope you get this resolve, please let us know. I am taking ICND2 soon and hope this won’t happen to me. 🙁

    Good luck

    This is on cisco website!

    Re: ICND2 exam topics!!! SNMP,syslog and tracking (with Netflow).

    It depends if you plan on taking the old or new exam.

    The topics you mention are on the new syllabus, so if you’re taking the 200-101 exam you should be familiar with those topics.

    If you plan to take 640-816 before Sept. 30, then these topics are not in the syllabus.

    You guys are scaring me, I’m going to take it tomorrow, I’ve been studying for a month, consistently, still there are lot of topics to cover. Since the clock is Ticking very fast there is not enough time to re-take, but the new one.

    Hello everyone. Took my test today and failed with 818. Missed it by a question or so. Saw a lot of material from pass4sure, and a few of the sims here like Frame-Relay, VTP, EIGRP, OSPF. I saw a lot of ACL, IPV6, and NAT. Those were my problem areas so im gonna work on it. Scheduled to retake next friday. Also saw subnetting questions, frame-relay configuration, VTP configuration, and other stuff i cant remember at the moment. Wish me luck!

    Another CCNA!! Passed today with a 9XX/1000

    Some of the things I had on the test:

    VTP sim, OSPF sim but it had 2 questions not on this site., VLSM drag and drop, hold down timer, LSA, Split Horizon drag and drop. What 2 states is STP in when the network is converged,the 802.1Q trunking question. Pretty much every multiple answer question was on my test. Hope this helps.

    Go out and get this test done before the test changes. Good Luck!!!
