Passed yesterday 9/27 w/ 900/1000, cant really say i saw things that wasnt on 9tut because i didnt study all of the composite quizzes, I chose maybe 8 randomly clicking on them and went through them that way. there were things on the test that weren’t in the quizzes I chose. A drag and drop, cant remember what it was but if i do i’ll be sure to post it, could have been one of those questions that wasnt worth any points though.

Passed today.

OSPF & Frame-relay!

I am writing ICND1 exam on May 2016 second week . What are the commands used/enabled for simulations(For eg : In Security Sims , OSPF etc) . Please help me…..???

Passed my ICND2 yesterday with 973/1000. Thanks 9tut Team. I passed my ICND1 last year using the same 9tut too.

I would like to share a piece of advice for everyone who wish to be a CCNA to take the following steps in preparation for exam:

1. Print the exam topics and watch online free videos, available at many sites, related to the topics (will give an idea about the topic, get your brain cell receptive to grasp the topics).

2. Study every topic in the book and if you find any difficulty, google it, watch another video online.

3. Practice those topics in Packet Tracer or GNS3 (whatever is available).

4. Get enough practice on CONFIGURATION and VERIFICATION (Show Commands).

5. Finally, 9TUT Membership Questions, Simulations and don’t forget to study the cross reference in a book or 9TUT explanation.

Hello guys. I just passed icnd1 and started studying ICND, I am a premium member here. I see alot of people post that they got OSPF hotspot sim, i been searching for this sim and i am not able to find it. Can someone please link this sim.
In ICND2 i see there is OSPF hotsopt questions and in ICND1 there is OSPF neighbor sim.
Someone can please link this, that would be great. I appreciate everyone’s comments here and its a great community.

Mink it is the one on icnd1. I guess sometimes it shows up on 1 or 2 , mostly 2 it seems..

I just registered for the ICND 2 test for this Friday, I need to know what do I need to do before the test, some suggestions from people that just took the test. Like for instance when I went for the ICND 1 test, before I hit the “START” button I dumped the IP subnet chart, for reference on the sheet they gave me. Thanks

failed my ICND2 exam last April 29, 2016, just got lost to some basic questions but I am now ready to retake it by next week. frame relay sim, new drag and drop (posted my mayu) and some stuff that I forgot.

at last! passed my ICND2 today! 947/1000 ! woohoo CCNA!

as far as I review here, all the questions are still valid BUT do not rely on it that much. What I mean is study all concepts and show commands after that you are ready to go!
got OSPF and frame relay sims, 1 ipv6 question, 2 drag and drop (holddown timer, split horizon etc.)

Passed ICND2 yesterday. got 940/1000 Got Frame Relay Sim. Questions were similar to what we have on website with some very small changes in some of questions. Studying material from website should be sufficient to pass exam.

Cisco systems has updated the exam code.

I’m in the same boat as you. If you passed you ICND 1 (recently), you can take ICND 2 v2 until September 24th.

I just passed the ICND2 today 973, 🙂 !!! I used cbt nuggets videos with Jeremy, ICND2 Study Guilde by todd Lammle and 9tut, I had Frame Relay and OSPF sim, also the 2 questions posted by -ccna March 31st 2016 was on my exam, all other questions came from the composite quizzes. Thanks 9tut for all the help everything you need his here take all of the composite quizzes know your show commands and how to read what the command show you and you will do fine. Good to everyone else.

P.S. they do change the numbers in the Frame Relay SIM.

Well done Midnight. People talk about seeing the OSPF sim . Is that the OSPF sim from ICND1 or the hotspot shown here in ICND2 ?

Which ospf sim people are talking about in icnd2, is it hospot question or ospf sim from icnd1 please can someone shade light on this issue? i have seen only icnd1 have sim not icnd2 or they have already udated the exam?

Passed my ICND2 🙂 Studied CBT Nuggets/Todd Lammel book/Dans Online Courses and 9TUT.
Used real kit (home lab) and packet tracer.
All you need is here in 9TUT but make sure you understand the topics.

which ospf lab was on icnd2? was it the hot spot ospf?

Hello all, just tested today and got a 973. Only sims are frame-relay and ospf hotspot. Ospf hotspot is exactly the same as 9tut. Frame-relay is almost the same, use the same commands with the addition of show ip route to determine what the destination ip. Also theres a question about which routing protocol will be used if EIGRP, RIP, and OSPF are configured. The answer is EIGRP due to the administrative distance.

Just wanted to let everyone know that 9tut is about 98% up to date as of today. To get the other 2% please read MAYU, CCNA, and my comments above for the new questions. Also I left a comment on the WAN and RSTP section with the updated version of the questions/answers.

ospf hotspot sims <– which sim is this? I know the ICND2 – OSPF Hotspot, but that's more questions than SIM.

June 7th is my test date!

Please explain answer to question 3 in Vlan and Trunking icnd2 quiz.
Why would only vlan 10 and vlan 15 be able to communicate with each other? By changing fa0/1 on switch 11 to access link breaks the trunk link therefore none should be able to communicate.

D. Hosts will not be able to communicate between the two switches.

Yes, I passed! Sorry I did not update you guys.
I got a 986/1000 (I thought I got a 100% honestly)
Everything here is valid. I got the Frame-relay sim along with the OSPF Hotspot Simlet.

whooohoo!!! PASSED 974/1000 i got the same as dylan frame-relay and ospf hotspot simlet and also eigrp. please understand the theory behind it question. alot of questions numbers changed as long as you understand the format is what matters! good luck to all!! now CCNP :D!! lets doo it!!

@black and Dylan. The ospf hotspot is the same as the one on the right under icnd2 second ospf hotspot? Can you please link the ospf hotspot sim that you studied from.

Took the ICND2 yesterday and passed with 973/1000. Probably 95% of the questions were straight from 9tut. I had the Frame-relay sim and OSPF Hotspot sim, and they were exactly the same as here.
@Mink211 yes the OSPF hotspot sim was the same as the link on the right.

Passed today with a 933, got EIGRP and FR sims. Thanks to 9tut, would not have been possible.

Just Passed ICND2 986/1000 –3 new question on why VPN might be better for a company over point to point wan connection.study drag and drop. sim was on frame relay but the wording was very difficult. you really have to take your time and read the questions carefully. thanks 9tut

Frame relay sim has changed somewhat and the answers here on the site no longer coincide with what was asked today on the exam. For the rest all the questions on the site are still relevant to the exam today.
