As long as you can do show frame-relay map and sh run these question should be easy to answer.

Granted the question about what the password is hit or miss.

I passed with 960 nothing new, all the same question as 9tut.

Did anybody have any simulation on HSRP, GLBP, or VRRP questions outside of what is on here?

@chingchung it gives you 4 possible answers but i released i noobed it after the exam and the reason it didn’t work is because i didn’t go into privileged mode e.g (EN) >#show running config best of luck

I haven’t sat it yet. I was just going by the subject matter in the course.

For the Ospf sim is there any configure involved or just show commands?

The whole CCNA appears to be more entry-level than one had previously imagined. It appears they don’t expect you to be able to configure anything…

They absolutely expect you to be able to configure this in the real world. Just because they are not asking you to do configurations on the test, does not mean you do not need to know it. It is already expected that you can set-up OSPF (Single and Multi-Area), EIGRP, Frame-Relay, PPP, HDLC, etc… They want to see if you can troubleshoot an issue, rather than just memorize commands.

@Dylan. Yes, I would expect that in the real world you would have to configure stuff. That makes the lack of any configuration on the CCNA exam somewhat baffling. Meh, I guess.

BTW, the 200-101 exam will be retired on 24/Sep/2016, then the 200-101 exam will be replaced by the new 200-105 exam!

New Guy, two I remember one was about poison, lsa,split horizon. The other one I have not seen before. Well from the quizzes posted here. I recall types of connections.

nawid, sims I had was OSPF and frame relay. OSPF is similar, and Frame relay is slightly different. Just know the commands and what to look for. There is no mid east router.

@thomas masi…how can there be a dump on the 200-105? This test is not even being given at the present time! Also, I looked at the sample and found most q’s from the 200-101 test. At $99 bucks someone is just trying to make some easy cash, as usual.

How different is the actual icnd2 exam from the quizzes on 9tut?

I tested today. The exam was very similar to the quizzes (almost exactly the same)
The answer to the OSPF question on the test was “console” but I guess it changes all the time. It was very easy to find on the CLI.

to day is my exam just prey for god that I be come pass and I will share the exam question to all of you gays.

@anon ….. Study Eigrp Lab (EIGRP troubleshooting simulator) from 9tut . There the explanation . Study OSPF hotspot questions in 9tut .

Passed on 25th June, scored 986. Everything here is still valid. I had Frame Relay and OSPF Hotspot, no EIGRP. All other questions were from 9tut.
One question about VPN which wasn’t here which asked what are the adv of VPN, and another was what Routing protocol would you use if EIGRP, OSPF, RIP are all enabled.

in eigrp lab how do you know a router is missing a network command

Is the exam questions exactly the same as 9tut quizzes? Other than some changes to answers in labs?

Assume that all of the router interfaces are operational and configured correctly. How will router R2 be affected by the configuration of R1 that is shown in the exhibit?

A. Router R2 will not form a neighbor relationship with R1.
B. Router R2 will obtain a full routing table, including a default route, from R1.
C. R2 will obtain OSPF updates from R1, but will not obtain a default route from R1.
D. R2 will not have a route for the directly connected serial network, but all other directly connected networks will be present, as well as the two networks connected to R1.

all the comments seem to be saying the answer is A. Can someone that has taken the exam confirm what answer is correct. This is question 9 is the OSPF section

@foa….. the correct answer for OSPF Q9 is A. (no neighbor relationship). Correct answer for Q1 is B.
The difference between these two questions is that on Q1 is stating that OSPF has been configured on R2. But on Q1, OSPF is not configured on R2.

I just passed today!! 😀 , my study source were Official Cert Guides by Wendel Odoms, 9tut tutorials and lots lots of labs.

Did you guys see any SNMP, Syslog, licensing, or rommon stuff on the exam? I see it listed in the exam topics and in my book as well, but nothing here.

Just passed the ICND2 exam recently with a 900+ score. Used Chris Bryant’s CCNA bootcamp from Udemy, Todd Lammle’s Routing and Switching Guide, and this website. Most questions were on point but there were about 3 questions that were not on this site and were not that hard to answer. Only had Frame-Relay Sim and OSPF hotspot SIM. Good luck.

Just passed ICND2 960/1000. Pretty easy stuff, ICND1 was a little easier but that was expected. More questions with multiple answers on ICND2. Had frame relay sim which was easy and OSPF hotspot also easy. No NAT or VTP sims. Had a cisco class at my school which gave me base knowledge, but this site is huge help. Just get the premium membership and master the quizzes. I would study all of the SIMs just in case, but 100% know the frame relay one. Maybe 2 or 3 new questions, there were a few questions that were the same but they changed the answers, so dont just memorize the answers.

Now that the CCNA R&S has been updated. Are you planning to update the new ICND1 and 2 tutorials and questions for the new topics?

Took the exam. Nothing really changed, same stuff as 9tut. I received the questions that Mayu & ccna posted on page 20, also couple new questions. Like if there was rip,eigrp,and ospf were configured, which would show up on the routing table of the router and i can’t remember the other one. I got FR and ospf, same exact questions, FR i could not do show running-config, i am not sure how they want us to find the password when you can do show run, i just guessed on that questions, it would of been easy if i could do show run.
