all these people pasting question on the dumps and asking them which ones are correct, worry me about looking at those dumps. Can anyone tell me if the latest dumps are actually reliable???

I passed the exam yesterday . Only one q was not on 9tut. The labs were the same, only the answers were different (keep in mind variance, passive-interface, wrong password in chap, mismatch of the area). Good luck!

Whats DTP‟s default in a switch?

    A. ON
    B. OFF
    C. Dynamic Desirable
    D. Auto

Answer: I think it is A

According to what I learned the DTP mode is switch depended. In GNS3 I hooked up 2 switches together and noticed that by default “Negotiating of Trunking = ON” now if i set the switchport to a static access port “Negotiating of Trunking = OFF” which answers another question:

How can you disable DTP on a switch port?
    A. Configure the switch port as a trunk.
    B. Add an interface on the switch to a channel group.
    C. Change the operational mode to static access.
    D. Change the administrative mode to access.

Answer: I think it is C

Before Switch set to static access:

    Name: Et0/0
    Switchport: Enabled
    Administrative Mode: dynamic desirable
    Operational Mode: static access
    Administrative Trunking Encapsulation: negotiate
    Operational Trunking Encapsulation: native
    Negotiation of Trunking: On
    Access Mode VLAN: 1 (default)
Trunking Native Mode VLAN: 1 (default)
    Administrative Native VLAN tagging: enabled
    Voice VLAN: none
    Administrative private-vlan host-association: none
    Administrative private-vlan mapping: none
Administrative private-vlan trunk native VLAN: none
Administrative private-vlan trunk Native VLAN tagging: enabled
    Administrative private-vlan trunk encapsulation: dot1q
Administrative private-vlan trunk normal VLANs: none
    Administrative private-vlan trunk associations: none
    Administrative private-vlan trunk mappings: none
    Operational private-vlan: none
    Trunking VLANs Enabled: ALL
    Pruning VLANs Enabled: 2-1001
    Capture Mode Disabled
    Capture VLANs Allowed: ALL

    Appliance trust: none

After setting switchport to static access:

    SW2#show int eth0/0 switchport
    Name: Et0/0
    Switchport: Enabled
    Administrative Mode: static access
    Operational Mode: static access
    Administrative Trunking Encapsulation: negotiate
    Operational Trunking Encapsulation: native
    Negotiation of Trunking: Off
    Access Mode VLAN: 1 (default)
Trunking Native Mode VLAN: 1 (default)
    Administrative Native VLAN tagging: enabled
    Voice VLAN: none
    Administrative private-vlan host-association: none
    Administrative private-vlan mapping: none
Administrative private-vlan trunk native VLAN: none
Administrative private-vlan trunk Native VLAN tagging: enabled
    Administrative private-vlan trunk encapsulation: dot1q
Administrative private-vlan trunk normal VLANs: none
    Administrative private-vlan trunk associations: none
    Administrative private-vlan trunk mappings: none
    Operational private-vlan: none
    Trunking VLANs Enabled: ALL
    Pruning VLANs Enabled: 2-1001
    Capture Mode Disabled
    Capture VLANs Allowed: ALL

    Appliance trust: none
    SW2#

Please comment if you have anything to add.

there is way to many false posts on here. people need to know most are actively giving you wrong information. any thing with xx9 or ~~~New Version Dumps is false bull shite. real qs with real answers are now very few. even if you ask for advice or help u are never going to know if its right or not. usually too late once you have sat the exam. use 9tut qs only and study the rest…. good luck all.

I passed the icnd2 .. thanx 9 tut and all comments. icnd2 dumps are valid + few new questions.

there is one huge mistake in the dumps (it was in the test):

Which configuration enables OSPF for network 192.168.1.0/24?
    A. router ospf
    router-id 192.168.1.0
    B. router ospf 1
    network 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 area 0
    C. router ospf 1
    neighbor 192.168.1.0
    D. router ospf 1
    area 0 virtual-link 192.168.1.0

    ANSWER D of course

  22. Commenter
    January 5th, 2018

    Hi EMF,

I thought the question below was a mistake because it should have a choice
    of

    router ospf1
    network 192.168.1.0 0.0.0.255 area 0
    should be the answer

but since its not in the choices, the correct answer is D as you say?

Which configuration enables OSPF for network 192.168.1.0/24?
    A. router ospf
    router-id 192.168.1.0
    B. router ospf 1
    network 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 area 0
    C. router ospf 1
    neighbor 192.168.1.0
    D. router ospf 1
    area 0 virtual-link 192.168.1.0

  23. Bengt
    January 6th, 2018

    Regarding last OSPF question.
    I’m not sure if D) “area 0 virtual-link 192.168.1.0” is correct answer.
the syntax is “area virtual-link “.
This command will not enable OSPF for network 192.168.1.0/24

  24. BMF
    January 6th, 2018

Passed today. NEW TEST! Cisco just changed it up, i’d say maybe only 20% of the multiple choice questions were from the latest dump. The sims were OSPF, EIGRP, and GRE (as expected). BGP questions, inter VLAN, and other random stuff that wasn’t covered in the Lammle book (my main source of instruction). There’s no substitute for learning the material, no short cuts, no magic test dump to memorize. Know your stuff. Good luck to all.

What protocol CGMP is NOT compatible with? Have no idea what is the correct answer.
    1. VRRP
    2. HSRP v1
    3. HSRP v2
    4. Smth don’t remember.
Definitely Cisco added a lot new stuff.

  31. Anonymous
    January 8th, 2018

    @whocares
    Maybe HSRPv1

The multicast address 224.0.0.2 is used to send HSRP hello messages.
This address can conflict with Cisco Group Management Protocol (CGMP) leave processing.
Version 1 is the default version of HSRP.
HSRP version 2 uses the new IP multicast address 224.0.0.102 to send hello packets instead of the multicast address of 224.0.0.2, used by HSRP version 1. This new multicast address allows CGMP leave processing to be enabled at the same time as HSRP.

  32. Anonymous
    January 8th, 2018

    @whocares

This is from 3560 config guide.
    https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3560/software/release/12-2_52_se/configuration/guide/3560scg/swhsrp.pdf

HSRPv1 uses the multicast address 224.0.0.2 to send hello packets, which can conflict with
Cisco Group Management Protocol (CGMP) leave processing. You cannot enable HSRPv1 and
CGMP at the same time; they are mutually exclusive.

    This from rediit,

get familiar with: FHRP tracking. QoS markings. order of actions for switching frames. logging levels and names. configuring PPPoE, and what happens at each phase. PPP authentication methods. SNMPv3 levels and encryption. Class A, Class B, Class C, and multicast boundaries. PVST+ port elections and modes, RPVST port elections and modes. Etherchannel protocol modes and how they operate ….. lots of things that seem trivial.

    @bill the dump,

I went ahead and rescheduled the exam. I’m gonna take it in a couple weeks. I just don’t want to take a chance and fail it if it is totally different from the previous one.

    @Alborotao,

I bought the book “OCG CCNA Routing and Switching ICND2 200-105” by Wendell Odom and have pretty much read and highlighted the hell out of the book. I reread it again before I was going to take the exam and did some practice labs.

I’m just gonna wait a couple more days to see if 9tut will come out with a new version. I downloaded the CCNAquestions_Dec_2017.pdf version and went off that. I’m not sure if the CCNAquestions_Dec_2017.pdf version will help with this new test.

    @Bill The Dump,

I feel your man, I can’t afford a fail so I rescheduled for Jan 26. HOPEFULLY, a newer version will be out before then so I can use that to study. Until then, I will be re-reading my CCNA Routing and Switching book by Wendell Odom.

Passed on the 8th with 85X out of 1000. Entirely new questions.

The simulations are heavily weighted and you NEED to understand how to find the answers because the sim questions are not the same.

Advice that will definitely be rejected, but “study the concepts instead of memorizing the answers.” If you’re hoping to memorize the answers without understanding the concepts and expecting a pass, you’re setting yourself up for failure. If you waited until last minute to certify and have no confidence in your ability to pass as is, sucks to be you.

I encountered no drag and drop, Spanning tree questions, OSPF questions, SNMP questions, and several frame relay/pppoe questions. Safe to say that a lot of my answers were educated guesses based on knowing which technologies/commands didn’t exist already.

    Good luck to everyone.

I’m looking at the Cisco guidelines and I dont see any place with it talks about Frame Relay. Are you sure, because if you are and its’ not in the guidelines then thats pretty messed up.

Just took my exam a few hours ago and passed with a 85x/1000. Umm, yea the test is no joke at all. Please study and learn the concepts. I also had the one EIGRP sim and OSPF topology picture. Had a question on BGP connection states, HSRP commands, SNMPv3 questions, drag and drop (LSA, split horizon, route poison, etc.), commands for verifying GRE tunnel connectivity. Very few questions from 9tut on it.
