    January 14th, 2018

    @skyslimit

    One of the GRE tunnel questions asked what would cause GRE tunnel up/down status. The second GRE question was to choose three answers that would verify GRE tunnel connectivity. However, it was for an IPSEC GRE tunnel. So, all of the answers were variations of the show crypto command. The drag and drop you previously mentioned is what I had.

  38. ss
    January 18th, 2018

    Hi all,
    I can give you update on the exam.
    2 Sims.
    One is EIGRP same topology with different questions than 9tut. Look for: passive inerface ,shutdown loopback adapter, unequal load balance with variance command under EIGRP process, summarized route with auto-summary command.

    Other is OSPF that Redrum posted, with exactly the same questions/answers.
    http://vceguide.com/how-many-networks-will-be-in-the-routing-table-of-r1-that-are-indicated-to-be-learned-by-ospf-4/
    http://vceguide.com/after-the-network-has-converged-what-type-of-messaging-if-any-occurs-between-r3-and-r4/
    http://vceguide.com/which-of-the-following-commands-could-be-used-in-r2-4/
    http://vceguide.com/which-address-will-the-ospf-process-select-as-the-router-id-5/

    About 30% questions from 9tut.net/icnd2.pdf. Other questions was new. You have to answer all questions from 9tut and sims without a mistake. And maybe about 10 questions from the new one, you will pass.

  39. ss
    January 18th, 2018

    Some of the new questions:
    What protocol CGMP is NOT compatible with?
    answer: HSRP v1

    which about gre tunnel is true?
    answer: sends in plain text

    Wich algorithm routing protocols are using.
    answer:Dijkstra -> ospf
    answer:Bellman-Ford -> RIP

    Question about commands to configure pppoe server:
    pppoe enable
    pppoe-client dial-pool-number 1

    How to remove vlan from trunk:
    switchport trunk allowed vlan remove

    Command to configure IPv6 peer for BGP
    neighbor xxxx remote-as xxxx

  40. ss
    January 18th, 2018

    2 sims.
    EIGRP sim with different questions than 9tut. Look for: passive interface, shutdown loopback, summary route, unequal load balance witch variance commad under eigrp process
    OSPF exactly like hotspot in 9tut.

    30% ot questions from 9tut.net, so consider to pay fee. If you answer sims and 9tut questions correctly, will need about 10 of the new questions to pass.

    Passed on Monday with 9xx/1000. The min. score is 811, not 800.
    Many questions from icnd2pdf. But you really need to understand the matter.
    EIGRP and OSPF like @ss above.
    Yes, you can use abbreviated commands and “show run” for EIGRP.
    No drag&drop.
    And don’t worry. There is plenty of time to finish the exam.

    Some detailed questions about TACACS+ and ACE (APIC-EM Path Trace)
    Responses from the TACACS+ daemon?
    ACCEPT, REJECT, ERROR, CONTINUE are correct

    ACE can’t remember the question.

    A very strange question:
    “When does your enterprise require highspeed broadband internet?
    p2p file sharing
    IaaS
    cloud computing
    vSAN expansion
    upgrade IOS
    resource-intensive application”

    Just got out of the exam, very tough compared to previous times I have sat this. Recent comments about the change are correct in that studying just this will not set you up for the exam. I had a drag and drop, and the 2 sims. I would of guessed about 30% of the questions appear exact as they do on here, 20% questions are slightly reworded or have been broken down to multiple answers, and the rest of the questions (ignoring sims and DnD) are just totally new.

    Topics that wasn’t covered in depth on here ranged from QoS policing, Packet inspection, Switching stacking (wasn’t the same as on here)

    Quite a few Cisco trick questions that really make you question even your basic understanding, like what command tells you the default VLAN. Another stupid one I got was host A and B are connected to the same switch but unable to communicate, choose the most probable answer. All answers were “probable” in my eyes but really depends what idiot configured it.

    Anyways good luck to those taking it, and really don’t rely on just 9tut or any pdf to get you there.

    Hello guys, just passed the exam today on my first try. The 9tut question base is still valid if you want to grasp the concept, although lots of new questions so you need understanding of topic as well, don’t learn answers by heart.

    Best of luck to all of you.

  55. Zimon
    January 19th, 2018

    Just passed today with 8xx, the minimum is 811. Plenty of new questions, 9tut sill good as a brain dump but there are just the 20% of questions from it at my advise.

    Plenty of ppp and and ppoe commands tricky questions, full of QoS concepts, Switch stacking tricky question never ever seen before, port fast, Spanning Tree PortFast BPDU Guard Enhancement,

    Which protocol HRSP interchange: ppp, ppoe, bpdu, hello, xxx. Right one is hello.

    which tipe of messages HRSP interchange: akn,sys, xxx, xxx;

    BGP configuration

    Drag and drop, OSPF lab from 9tut, EIGRP lab from 9tut

    I have studied on CCNA Routing and Switching ICND2 Official Cert Guide, CBT nuggets to fix the concepts, youtube ccna with Vambar and so on.

    Take your time, do labs, its still possible to pass

    Good luck

  56. Hdawg
    January 19th, 2018

    for all the people who passed the exam, can you let us know what part of the LAN switching technologies questions were asked(whatever you can remember) and what questions from the Routing tech. where asked.

    The reason is because those to subjects cover 55% of the test in itself. I, honestly, don’t want to spend a couple hours on question that are on the 14% or 15% of the test. From the cisco website here are the percentages that will be on the test.

    LAN Switching Tech. – 26%
    Routing Tech. – 29%
    WAN tech. – 16%
    Infrastructure Services – 14%
    Infrastructure maintenance – 15%

    Dont’ get me wrong, every question counts, but I rather spend more time on the larger percentages rather than the lower percentages.

    Thanks

    @Hdawg no, it is here :

    but you need premium membership to have a full access to the questions/answers.

  65. NDB
    January 21st, 2018

    To the people asking to share the questions we had, realise that there is 50 odd questions and like many are saying most are new. So the likelihood of people coming out and remembering is very low.

    We have been helpful enough to point you in directions of what to expect, but its a pool of questions so could not even get ours. Research and learn. In my honest opinion, taking this made me realise the Cisco qualifications will become much more sought after as they have done a fine job of cracking down on mock tests.

    Hey Guys there are 5 labs in the exams, Eigrp Tshoot, Riv2 Tshoot, GRE Tunneling Tshoot, DHCP Tshoot and there is a Inter-vlan Lab with access ports, switching, 802.1q and native vlan mismatch error. You need to study Ipv6, Ipv4, switching topics, routing topics, subnetting good basic knowlege and my main recommendation is to practice labs a lot. I passed today with a good score, I will keep on working hard and getting certifications. Finally take 1 to 2 minutes per question and 8 to 12 minutes per lab as maximum; that would be my best advise to your guys!!!! Good look on getting the CCNA certification!!!!

  75. CCNA Joday Master
    January 23rd, 2018

    In addition study simulations and labs as much as possible. Eirgp, Rip v2, GRE, DHCP Tshoot and ACL,Inter-vlan routing lab with a native vlan mismatch error are the simulations you need to practice as much as possible. The ACL laboratory is the same than 9tut labs only with different ip addresses.

  80. Skvok
    January 23rd, 2018

    @CCNA Keymaster, don’t understand what he is talking about. There are only 2 labs IF you passing ICND2 exam(200-105). Ofcourse if you passing CCNA exam(200-125) there maybe 5 labs(because it’s ICND1+ICND2 exam). But here we talking about ONLY ICND2 exam. People here who passed exam talk about only OSPF and EIGRP sim, because RIPv2 was in ICND1. So what are you talking about then?

  81. Router
    January 23rd, 2018

    @Skvok you’re right in ICND2 DO NOT HAVE THESE LABS, no more than 2 labs

  82. CCNA Keymaster
    January 23rd, 2018

    @Skvok that is correct CCNA exam(200-125) there maybe 6 labs 2 of configuration and 4 related to troubleshooting. OSPF and EIGRP sim might be in the second exam, ICND2 exam(200-105)

    @ CCNA Keymaster,

    That is what I’m going by. I think there aren’t 6 labs in CCNA 200-105. Your right in that there are probably 6 labs if your taking the 200-125 version, but this site is only for ICND 2. I already passed ICND 1. I’m taking the two part test instead of taking the whole exam in one. So with that being said, are there only 2-3 labs for ICND 2 (200-105)?

  86. Goldenstein
    January 24th, 2018

    Hi Everyone,

    Passed the exam with 900 today. I hate to say this, but this exam is not easy at all. There were about 15% to 20% of questions from 9tut, I was using cross elimination to answer almost all the remaining question. At one point, I was ready to give up. I think I lucked out by getting all the simulation questions right. The simulation turned out to be super easy.

    There were two simulation questions:

    http://vceguide.com/after-the-network-has-converged-what-type-of-messaging-if-any-occurs-between-r3-and-r4/

    Lucky this was the first one and it’s exactly the same.

    The 2nd one was the EIGRP question. Exact same diagram, but different answer. In short, just look for the following mistake: passive interface, auto summary, unequal load balancing, and missing network statement.

    For unequal load balancing, pay attention to the metric value. They made it really obvious, you can find the mistake easily.

    I will be positing more questions that I remember for tomorrow….

  90. Hdawg
    January 24th, 2018

    @Billy The Dump,

    Ya man, unless a miracle happens and 9tut comes out with a pdf for the new exam in 1 day. I’m staying up late just reviewing the icnd2pdf and doing some labs using gns3. what about you?

  91. Billy The Dump
    January 24th, 2018

    @Hdawg
    Almost same story here, printed the exam topics list:
    https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/community/certifications/ccna/icnd2/exam-topics
    and reading study materials. There are some topics like QoS/TACACS/APIC-EM that I am not familiar with, so I pay more attention on them.
    Also reviewing icnd2.pdf questions and December pdf file from 9tut -> if my answer is incorrect -> then I read the according topic. I have a huge experience with Packet Tracer labs, so, I hope EIGRP/OSPF exam simulation will be easy for me to solve.
    And of course, I keep checking this thread to find new information about questions and reports.
    I still haven’t scheduled my exam, but I’m going to take it on the 9th or 12th of February. I have to go in different town for it.
    Hope, we will be fine man.
    Good luck!

  92. Hdawg
    January 24th, 2018

    @Billy The Dump,

    I’ve been looking at the exam topics from that link as well. I’ve been focusing more on the 26% and 29% since that will be a huge part of the exam. I’m also no that familiar with QoS and APIC-EM, but those two subjects are part of the 14% and 15% so I’m not too worried over it. I’ll skim through it and pray that there aren’t alot of questions on it. As far as the test questions from icnd2 and december pdf, I’ve been doing about 20-30 questions per day and if I got more than 2 question wrong per 10 questions, I would redo it the next day until I got a 90 or 100%. I also have experience with packet tracer, but it only gives you a selected amount of commands, some of which are needed for some topics on here. So my go to emulator is GNS3. You should try it, there are ios files out on the internet, you just have to look(i could also send you a link) and install vmware workstation or virtualbox and create about 4 vm’s and use that as your lab. I did that and recreated some of the labs on here. it gave me a better understanding of the commands.To be honest, I”m kinda tired of studying, I’ve been doing it for the past couple months(on and off due to my personal life and such) and I just wanna get it over with and move on to ccna security.If, god forbid, I don’t pass it, I’ll wait a couple months and get enough cash to retake it, hopefully by then there will be a pdf for the new exam. Good luck to you as well man!!!

    @TopKekLord,

    I take the exam on friday, but I have until thursday morning to change the date or else I’m locked in for good. If by a miracle they come out with some dumps by the end of the day today or early tomorrow, then I’ll change the date of my exam. If not, then I guess I’m set for Friday

    I sat the 200-105 exam last week – by some miracle I passed it. Almost all of the questions had me shaking my head – the way they were worded, and the possible answers (several questions had answers that COULD have been correct) – very confusing. Maybe it’s Cisco’s way of keeping the cert valuable by switching it up. I remember being 20 questions in and knowing that I missed 15 of them. My test had a lot of IPv6 – at least 5 questions.

    It’s my second time recertifying in ccna routing and switching and I think it’s time to move on to security or a vendor neutral cert. Advice on this test? If you don’t know the answer, just try to reason the choices as best you can. You will get questions that come out of left field.
