Guideline to use the Simulator on 9tut.net

When you access a simulator (for example https://www.9tut.net/final_flash/ICND2/flash_simulator/EIGRP_Troubleshooting_Sim/EIGRP_Troubleshooting_Sim.html) you will see this interface:

simulator_buttons.jpg

After entering the simulator, please have a look at the right-hand side. Do you see the 3 buttons? Please click on the three buttons on the right-hand side to access the CLI of each device.

Please have a look at the screenshot above:

– The first button (“Q”) represents the question (as the text you are reading).
– The second and third button (“R1-4” & “R5-6”) represents the Command Line Interface (CLI) of six routers from R1 to R6. After click “RT” button, you can type commands to the corresponding textboxes to get information about six routers as shown below

Simulator_CLIs.jpg

There is a “Show Questions” button at the left-hand side of the simulator. Please click on it to open the questions of that simulator.

    July 14th, 2014

@egidijus: Maybe you are mentioning about Composite Quizzes. These quizzes are designed in the same way of real exam quiz in which you have to answer all the questions first. If you are just learning you should try the quizzes dedicated for each topic on the right-side menu first. You can find these quizzes at the beginning of each topic.

I’m still a bit of confused about the right answer to the characteristics of hierarchical network model question. I can’t seem to find any exact specific reading about this anywhere and the composite quizzes says the right answers are Port Security and Layer 3 support but other Cisco materials discuss PoE, VLAN etc.

    http://www.ciscopress.com/articles/article.asp?p=2202410&seqNum=4

    Please help.

Hello guys. I did all the flash cards and I do pass with excellent score.

I tried to use Boson prep exam and I noticed that the questions get much deeper and I am a bit confused. I used Cbt videos and Todd Lammle book for studying, but it seems that they are too generic about IPV6, OSPF and other topics.

Is really the exam level of difficulties the once I can find here and on examcollection.com

I start to feel concern since I pass all the VCE files, but I struggle much more on other scenarios.

  6. characteristics describe the access layer of the hierarchical network design model.

    http://www.ciscopath.com/content/61/

    features in the Access layer:
    Port security
    VLANs
    Fast Ethernet/Gigabit Ethernet
    Power over Ethernet (PoE)
    Link aggregation
    Quality of Service (QoS)

Roger, They must have made a mistake. Access layer is 100% VLAN and Port Security facing part of the model. Why? Becuase it is facing the customer or the end user.

Passed ICDN1 today with 967/1000 in US in 41 minutes. I studied for about 10 days with CCNA in 60 days and 9tut. Really glad I paid the $9 for the premium membership as this site is 100% legit! I had OSPF, Security Testlet, and Show Configurations SIMs; a couple of questions from the SIMs had with very slight variances. Also about 85% of the multiple choice questions were word for word from 9tut. Definitely know subnetting and be able to do it in your head or use the 15 minutes prior to entering the exam to brain dump and write all your subnets down with 2 to x power up to 10 as this will save you a lot of time. Also get GNS3 or Packet Tracer so you can familiarize yourself with using the CLI and entering commands and using the interface. Don’t even bother with VCEs as the majority of those questions came from here. Good luck!

So I’m a little confused. I’m looking to register to take my ICND1 100-101, but I see the 100-101 test in the CCNA and CCENT section. Are both CCNA and CCENT 100-101 test the same? If not then what is the ICND1 test 9tut is based on?

  30. Gaspazet
    June 19th, 2015

ICND1 100-101 just two hours ago in Greece. I had all question from 9tut but 2 , if i remember correctly.
The one question was about ospf single area advantages over multi area.
    I had 986/1000.
I studied Todd’s Lammle book, CBT nuggets and 9tut @ the end.
    Best luck to all

  31. Ken
    June 20th, 2015

I just passed my test an hour ago 973/1000. 9tut is the real deal. About 98% of the questions are on here. Please don’t just memorize the questions and answers. Know your material!

A couple of the questions on 9tut were tweaked on the exam i.e. “What is the bandwidth of the serial link on routerA”. 9tut has it at 512kb. On the test it was 6kb!

Know your show commands and understand what the security lines mean!!!! Thank you 9tut. On to ICND2.

Hi, all, please where to get a plugin for android to run the premium tests? My laptop currently gave up (probably a fault on network card) and my exam is too soon to have it fixed by then. Android is my only option now but I am struggling to find the right plugin to run the tests there. Thank you!

  33. G
    June 30th, 2015

Just passed test today 1000! 9tut is King. 95% exact match on questions. Got the OSPF and Security test sims.

Slight variances for a few subnetting questions but practice subnetting & you’ll get them. Also received the question on advantage of single ospf area.

Study Material: CBT Nuggets, Packet Tracer and 9tut.

Dont waist your time with dumps. $9 and you have everything you need here. Everyday go over the 3 sims, 1 or more composites and continually go down the list of topics over and over again.

First, thanks for this site! Used this and Lammle for ICND1 and passed with 9**.

However, I am crunching for ICND2, enrolled in Premium membership and can’t access the Flash-based questions consistently. I have to log out, refresh and do a hula dance to access each quiz. They cannot be accessed in sequence. Very tiresome. I am using Firefox 45.3.0 with all caches cleared and permissions set

Still having difficulty with Premium content being inaccessible. Switch to Opera within two quizzes – same problem. Is anyone working on this? Is there a support channel I can access? Bueller? Bueller?

Seeing that the quiz for ICND1&2 are now out of date, will there be any updated dumps?

I almost failed the ICND1 the second time, this site is missing a lot of questions. I would wait till they update this site properly until investing some more. About 30% of the questions were missing
